Two Wishes (Australia) Board member, and founder of the Divorce Centre, Cheryl Duffy advocates support not court for separating families.
In this video, she explains the critical importance of emotional support for families. That is so often missing at the onset of separation. It will help “get to the other side with the least damage done to yourselves and to your children”.
“If clients are not emotionally supported at the start of a separation, their emotions can run high,” Cheryl says. A much better pathway than employing a lawyer first is to engage with a Divorce Coach. They can help support and manage all the needs of family members. They can refer to specialists – in health, finance or whatever’s necessary – as and when needed.
