Top UK judge: A better way than family courts
The UK’s top family court judge, Sir Andrew MacFarlane, has a simple but radical plan: to promote better ‘upstream’ help for separating families so they avoid family courts entirely.
He insists “There is a better way” than family courts for “supporting families in conflict”.
His key step will be to push the report “What About Me?” into effect. He says it’s a blueprint for radical change.
