Biggest stress factor: not seeing family
It’s official: “not seeing family” was declared the biggest stress factor. In a YouGov survey in Australia at the height of the COVID pandemic, that’s what 77% of all people felt. It was well ahead of “feeding the family” (at 48%), “losing a job” (49%) or “paying the bills” (60%).
The COVID crisis has massively affected family life. And family courts are scrambling desperately to join the 20th century (though, sadly, not yet the 21st).
Isn’t it time now to put children and families at the top of every political agenda, all the time?
