Throughout 2018-2020, the print media coverage we have generated in Australia has highlighted such key issues as the need to treat family breakdown as an urgent health issue; the harm caused to children by our current approach; the lack of professional competence, feedback and scrutiny inherent in existing systems; and the possible link between family court proceedings and murders of children by their own parents.
